Soccer - 1. FC Nuremberg with a shooting party at Klose's premiere
Trainer Miroslav Klose experienced a shooting festival in his first test match with 1. FC Nürnberg. With new signings Florian Pick and Michal Sevcik in the starting lineup, the Franconian football second division team won 13:0 (6:0) against Bezirksligist 1. FC Hersbruck.
Lukas Schleimer opened the scoring for the team set up in a 4-3-3 system in the 8th minute and added another goal before half-time (19th minute). Goals from new signing Flügelspieler Pick (30th, 34th), an own goal (35th), and loan player Sevcik (37th) from Sparta Prag made it half a dozen before the break.
The FCN is goal-hungry
Klose made one complete change to his team at half-time. And the second team also showed itself to be goal-hungry against overmatched hosts. Dustin Forkel (57th, 75th, 83rd), Julian Kania (66th/penalty, 80th), and Rafael Lubach (77th, 78th) set the final score before 2596 spectators.
The Nürnbergers play their next test match against SpVgg Ansbach on Thursday (18.30 CET). They will then face Italian record champions Juventus Turin on July 26 (17.00 CET) for their heart test. The 2. Bundesliga season opener takes place a week later.
