Dynamo Dresden will soon have a new player on their team. Lukas Boeder is set to join the Black-and-Whites in the near future. The third-division team made this announcement on Tuesday. The 27-year-old defender has been playing for league rival 1. FC Saarbrücken until now. With Boeder's contract with Saarbrücken expiring at the end of June, he will be joining Dresden without a transfer fee. The exact duration of his contract with the Saxons has not been disclosed.
Last season, Boeder played in 45 formal matches for FCS, with five games being in the DFB Cup. He played crucial roles in victories against FC Bayern Munich, Eintracht Frankfurt, and Borussia Mönchengladbach.
David Fischer, the Head of Communication at SGD, commented, "We've managed to get Lukas, a seasoned third-league player who has also played in the 2. Bundesliga, to join our team. His determined and insightful playing style will not only help us in defense but also in building the game's momentum."
