David Harbour: End of strike good for marriage
US actor David Harbour (48) says he is doubly happy about the end of the Hollywood strike - also because of his marriage to British singer Lily Allen (38, "Smile"). "My wife likes it when I go to work because it's nice for her to have her life. And that I have my life and we don't annoy each other because we're together all the time," the "Stranger Things" actor told the US magazine "People". During the Hollywood actors' strike, which lasted almost four months until the agreement was reached last Thursday, he had been sitting on the couch "depressed as hell".
However, the involuntary break from work has also had a good effect on his marriage, Harbour explained: "At the end of the day, it's very good because you get to know someone." Family life with Allen and her children from her first marriage, aged ten and eleven, is great: "We're getting closer and closer." The musician and the actor tied the knot in Las Vegas in September 2020.
