Winona Ryder and Jenna Ortega invite back the supernatural character in the "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" trailer.

In the upcoming movie "Beetlejuice Beetlejuice," Michael Keaton reprises his role as Beetlejuice, the zany spectre from the 1988 film "Beetlejuice."

Directed by Tim Burton, Catherine O'Hara joins the cast as Delia, Lydia's stepmother.

A trailer for the film reveals Ryder as Lydia Deetz and her daughter Astrid, portrayed by Ortega, attempting to conjure the unholy.

Yet, when enquired about Beetlejuice, Lydia cautions her daughter against mentioning his name.

As Astrid calls out "Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice!," you can't help but wonder who's about to make a comeback...

The film's plot synopsis indicates that, following an unforeseen family tragedy, the Deetz family — comprised of three generations — finds themselves back in Winter River, Connecticut, where Beetlejuice was first conjured.

Opening a portal to the afterlife in the attic is sure to cause havoc.

The synopsis concludes, "With chaos running rampant in both realms, it won't be long before someone accidentally utters Beetlejuice's name three times, thereby releasing his cheeky brand of mayhem."

"Beetlejuice Beetlejuice" will be released in theatres on September 6. It is distributed by Warner Bros., which, like CNN, falls under Warner Bros. Discovery.
