Cologne - Three men seriously injured in a fight at a wedding party
Three men were seriously injured in an argument during a wedding party in Cologne on Friday. The injured men are currently undergoing emergency surgery in hospitals, as the police and the public prosecutor's office announced late in the evening.
According to the statement, the men initially got into an argument with three suspects in front of an event hall in Vitalisstraße early on Friday evening. This led to an altercation in which the men, aged 34, 40 and 45, were seriously injured by stabs and cuts. According to witnesses, the attackers fled in cars.
The police are searching for the alleged perpetrators and are looking for witnesses to the altercation. A homicide squad has reportedly begun an investigation.
