The SC Magdeburg, champions of German handball, have a shot at claiming their maiden IHF Club World Championship title from September 27 to October 3 in Egypt's emerging capital. Notably, Magdeburg has previously outplayed Khaleej Club in the preliminary rounds in 2022 and 2023, as per their official site.

The 17th installment of this global spectacle has been christened the Club World Championship. All the matches will unfold in New Administrative Capital Hall, housing up to 7,500 spectators, in Egypt's undisclosed capital. Apart from Magdeburg, teams including FC Barcelona, Veszprém, and hosts Al-Ahly, will also be competing. The initial rounds will commence from September 27 to 29, with top-tier teams from Pot 1, including Magdeburg, squaring off on September 28 and 29. The semifinals are slated for October 1. Subsequently, the final and the 3rd-place playoff will both take place on October 3.
