Robert Downey Jr. jokes about Chris Hemsworth during the Walk of Fame event with assistance from the "Avengers" ensemble.
To honor Chris Hemsworth receiving his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, his "Avengers" co-star Robert Downey Jr. was present to shower praises on the handsome Australian thespian, delivering light-hearted jabs along the way.
Encouraging the crowd in Los Angeles' Hollywood Boulevard to watch Hemsworth's new movie "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" thrice, Downey Jr. highlighted Hemsworth's "irresistible Aussie charm" and confessed it was "intimidating to describe" him due to his "seductive packaging."
To simplify matters, Downey Jr. asked his "Avengers" cast members to brief him on Hemsworth in just three words. His amusing observations followed:
- Jeremy Renner, the "Hawkeye" actor, dubbed Hemsworth "unbelievably, gratingly fantastic."
- Mark Ruffalo, who portrays the Hulk in the Marvel Cinematic Universe, quipped about their 2017 hit "Thor: Ragnarok" with the hilarious remark, "co-worker from work."
- "Black Widow" actress Scarlett Johansson hit the nail on the head with "compassionate leading lady."
- Lastly, Chris Evans, a.k.a. "Captain America," predicted "second-best Chris" would be Hemsworth's moniker.
The action-movie "Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga" premiers this Friday.
