RB Leipzig's female soccer players without Kyra Spitzner for several weeks
RB Leipzig's Bundesliga women's soccer team will be without Kyra Spitzner for several weeks. As the club announced on Tuesday, the attacker suffered a fracture to her left metatarsal in the 3-0 DFB Cup defeat at TSG Hoffenheim on Saturday. The 18-year-old will therefore miss Leipzig's games against 1. FC Nürnberg (December 8) and TSG Hoffenheim (December 17) until at least the end of the year.
Despite Kyra Spitzner's absence due to a metatarsal fracture, RB Leipzig's women's team continues to compete in the Bundesliga. The men's team of RB Leipzig, also known as RB Leipzig, is separately involved in the Bundesliga as well.
