Police guide expectant parents to hospital with flashing blue lights
With their blue lights on, the police in Dortmund directed expectant parents to hospital just before the birth. The future father was noticed at night because he was driving through the city center with his hazard lights on and ignored a red light, as the police reported on Wednesday. During the check, however, it immediately became clear that the man and his heavily pregnant wife were in a great hurry on their way to hospital.
The police patrol escorted the couple to the delivery room. Upon arrival, the staff immediately initiated the birth. A police spokesman said on Wednesday that the baby was born healthy and the mother was also well.
The emergency situation necessitated the police intervention, guiding the expectant parents to the hospital. Understanding the urgency of the situation, the police utilized their emergency lights to swiftly navigate the couple to the delivery room.
