Following the onset of winter in the Rheingau-Taunus district, district administrator Sandro Zehner (CDU) issued a statement last night calling on residents to stay at home on Tuesday. There was an acute danger to life from broken branches and falling trees.
Despite the calming weather conditions, remnants of the storm continue to pose challenges. Isolated fallen trees still block some roads, leading to ongoing accidents.
