Man injures himself jumping from balcony - escape
A man was injured when he jumped from a second-floor balcony of a residential building in Hamburg on Thursday evening. According to the police, they were called to an argument in the St. Pauli district. According to initial findings, two people from outside were visiting at least one person in the apartment when the argument broke out.
The two visitors then presumably fled from the arriving police and jumped from the balcony, a police spokesman said at night. The man, who injured his foot in the process, was provisionally arrested. The second person fled. It is therefore not known whether he also sustained injuries. One person in the apartment was also injured.
The Police were called due to an argument, which escalated into an emergency situation. The situation turned into a potential crime scenario when two individuals involved in the argument jumped from the balcony to avoid arrest.
