Lindsey Graham reveals the FBI is examining potential phone hacking incident.
Earlier this week, Graham mentioned that his phone had been taken by the FBI after someone tried to hack his phone by pretending to be Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer.
"I receive a message, I think from Schumer. It's not from Schumer," said Graham, a Republican from South Carolina, during the Hill and Valley Forum, a tech event on Wednesday. "And all of a sudden, my phone's... Anything that can be created can be hacked."
We've asked the FBI, Graham's office, and the Senate Sergeant at Arms, who deals with cyber threats for senators, for their thoughts on the situation.
It's unclear who was responsible for the attempted hack. Politicians and their staff deal with a variety of cyber threats, including those from foreign governments and regular cybercriminals.
This story is still developing and will be updated.
