Jan Böhmermann announces live music tour for 2025
TV satirist Jan Böhmermann (42) wants to go on a live music tour again at the beginning of 2025. The Rundfunk-Tanzorchester Ehrenfeld, which has been an integral part of Böhmermann's TV show "ZDF Magazin Royale" for many years, will be taking part.
As his management told the German Press Agency on Sunday, the tour will start on January 13, 2025 in Frankfurt am Main. The total of 15 locations include Cologne, Erfurt, Saarbrücken, Nuremberg, Berlin and Hamburg. There will also be a performance in Zurich and Vienna. The tour will reportedly last until February 1, 2025, with tickets going on sale on November 29, 2023.
The motto is "Eisern Ehrenfeld". The studio space for Böhmermann's ZDF satirical show is located in Cologne-Ehrenfeld. The tour is described as a "satirical-political revue, subversive show" with "outstanding music and pointed poetry". It is now the fourth joint tour for Böhmermann and the orchestra.
