Dangerous in life - Four-year-olds critically injured in fall from window

At a fall from the window of an apartment in Recklinghausen, a four-year-old girl has been seriously injured. She was flown to a clinic with a rescue helicopter on Sunday evening, as a police spokesperson stated.

The child, according to initial findings, had climbed onto an open window in the first floor and then fallen out. "At the moment, we have no indications of criminal offenses."

In the wake of the incident, emergency services were quickly notified and dispatched to North Rhine-Westphalia, specifically in Recklinghausen. Due to the severity of the girl's injuries, it was necessary to arrange an emergency helicopter transport to a nearby clinic in Germany.
