Crime - Federal police check parcel at Leipzig main station
The Federal Police checked a suspicious package at Leipzig Central Station on Monday evening. A spokeswoman for the Federal Police told the German Press Agency that the package had been left in a garbage can near platforms 12 and 13 and could not be attributed to a person. Disarmers were deployed and the area was cordoned off. It was initially unclear whether train services were also affected.
