A 37-year-old female motorist collided with two young kids, aged five and six, in Kernen, Remstal (Rems-Murr-District). One kid ended up with severe injuries, while the other had minor wounds. The woman allegedly ran a red light at a crossing on a Friday, claims the police statement issued on Saturday. At that moment, the kids were walking on the road, as per police reports. The more severely injured child is currently in critical condition. Fortunately, the driver walked away unscathed.
