Carey Mulligan and Marcus Mumford exchanged letters while at summer camp before eventually tying the knot.
"The lead actress from 'Promising Young Woman' shared that she and her husband, who is the frontman for Mumford and Sons, first met at the same summer camp when she was 12 and he was 10. Following their time at camp, the pair continued to stay in touch by writing letters to each other. She recalled this time on 'Good Morning Britain,' mentioning that they didn't have phones, so they relied on the pen pal method. She expressed a desire to bring back pen pals for the younger generation.
Mulligan also shared that they went ten years without contact before eventually reconnecting through Facebook. They began dating in 2007, got married in 2012, and now have three children together."
