Biden cautions against semi-isolationism, emphasizing the significance of alliances at a WWI cemetery in France.

"It's not possible to avoid getting involved in major conflicts in Europe, so it's crucial that we maintain our alliances and make sure they're as strong as they can be. This has been the case since the end of World War II. When asked if Americans' perceptions of alliances are shifting, Biden seemed to mix up his words by mentioning delayed congressional aid for Iraq instead of Ukraine.

"I believe that some people in the country now want us to become more withdrawn and less committed to our alliances. This idea of waiting for months before giving financial support to Iraq, which happened due to certain congressional delays, is not in line with who we are or what America stands for.

"President Biden has consistently blamed congressional Republicans for holding up aid to Ukraine and has personally apologized to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky for this delay.

"In coming to Aisne-Marne to honor those who fought and died here, it's essential to demonstrate our continuing support for our allies. America has always been there to support its allies when needed. Just like we helped Europe stop the Germans during World War II, we will continue to do so when required. This was different from Trump, who decided not to visit the cemetery during his own trip due to weather conditions. His helicopter couldn't fly in low clouds, leaving no alternative plan. Trump never apologized for not visiting the cemetery."

When asked what he hoped Americans would learn from his trip, Biden reiterated, "The understanding that the most effective way to prevent future wars is to stay strong with our allies. Don't back down."

"Given the importance of maintaining strong alliances, especially in the context of potential conflicts in Europe, it's vital to ensure our financial support is prompt and reliable, as seen with Ukraine. This principle was challenged when congressional aid for Iraq was delayed, leading to controversy."

"Just as President Biden emphasized the significance of supporting our allies, particularly in moments of crisis, it's crucial for us to remember that delaying aid or failing to provide it altogether can harm our international standing and our commitment to peace."
