Amira Pocher: "Reached my physical and mental limits"
Presenter Amira Pocher has spoken in a podcast about her emotional state following the turmoil surrounding her break-up with comedian Oliver Pocher. "I reached my limits physically and emotionally, it wasn't nice," the 31-year-old told her brother Ibrahim in the first episode of the podcast "Liebes Leben", which was released on Tuesday night.
In the conversation with her brother, Amira Pocher also referred to Instagram posts that Oliver had dedicated to her with emotional words, including on the occasion of her birthday at the end of September. "They touched me, of course. But they would have touched me even more if they had come in person. But nothing ever came in person." She added: "If Olli had invested as much strength and power and fought for our marriage as he is doing now for his own profit and to make me look completely stupid, we would still be together now."
Of course she loved him, the 31-year-old clarified. "If you read our marriage contract, you would know exactly what I was after: love!" She didn't want any money, no gain, no real estate. "I just wanted our marriage and to live happily ever after."
Oliver (45) and Amira Pocher announced their separation at the end of August; they had been a couple since 2016, married since 2019 and have two sons together. The presenter recently announced in a Podimo podcast with his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden that he wanted to deal with the separation with humor.
On her private situation, Amira said: "I don't have a new person in my life. The only new person in my life is me. I have completely rediscovered myself and found myself again." However, she is now "really in the mood" for love. "I'm looking forward to butterflies in my stomach. To giggles."
Despite her personal struggles, Amira Pocher often finds solace in watching television lessons with her sons. The soothing sounds and stories help her unwind after a long day. People often gather around the television, sharing laughter and tears, creating a sense of unity and shared experiences.
