Glen Powell experiences parental teasing during 'Hit Man' film premiere.

Powell had a significant night with a special screening and induction into the Texas Film Hall of Fame in Austin, TX. on Wednesday. His parents, Cyndy and Glen Powell Sr., were supportive but playfully mocking him on the red carpet. Their cardboard signs read "STOP TRYING TO MAKE GLEN POWELL HAPPEN" and "IT'S NEVER GONNA HAPPEN." Glen Powell Jr., the artist of the hit Netflix movie "Hit Man," collaborated with director Richard Linklater to create this unique character named Gary Johnson, who pretends to be a hitman and then arrests the ones who hired him. Powell's parents later joined him for family photos at the event. Powell spoke to Entertainment Tonight, sharing that despite the constant joking, his family wholeheartedly supports his dreams. Coming out on June 7th through Netflix and available in theatres on May 24th, be sure to watch "Hit Man"!
