Previously crowned boxing world champion - Mike Tyson experiences a health crisis while on a plane, one month prior to his upcoming match.
Mike Tyson, the ex-heavyweight world champion (57), is preparing to get back in the ring for a battle in less than two months. Sadly, during a journey from Miami to Los Angeles, a strange event happened with the boxer. He needed medical attention.
A spokesperson declared that Mike's condition will probably improve. "Fortunately, Mr. Tyson is doing okay," the agent representing the professional boxer reported to the American publication "People." Approximately 30 mins before landing, Tyson felt dizzy and sick because of a longstanding stomach issue. The flight's onboard medical team who came to his rescue got a thanks from Tyson.
Controversial Boxing Match With Jake Paul for Mike Tyson
This incident occurred just a few weeks prior to a highly-anticipated fight that's scheduled for July 20th at the AT&T Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Tyson will face off against YouTuber and boxer Jake Paul (27). Known for their headline-making actions away from the ring, this match won't go unnoticed. The stadium of the Dallas Cowboys, which has a seating capacity of 80,000, will host the event and it will also be livestreamed on Netflix.
"He has made strides as a boxer during the years," the trade publication "Variety" quoted Tyson. He continued, "it will be entertaining to see what the ambitions and drive of a kid can accomplish against his capabilities and experience." He referred to himself as "GOAT," or "Greatest Of All Time" (German: "Bester aller Zeiten").
