Inside the courtroom - Abou-Chaker's sibling alleges Bushido's "crooked scheme."

In the legal battle between rapper Bushido and his former associate Arafat Abou-Chaker over shared properties, one of Abou-Chaker's siblings slammed Bushido's antics during the court proceedings at the Oberlandesgericht Brandenburg. The sibling called Bushido's "cunning and wicked scheme," whereby he paints himself as a victim, asserting that he wants "everything" from the company.

The court case involves seven houses bought by the two men together in Brandenburg. They are now attempting to dissolve their business partnership. Recently, a criminal trial cleared Arafat Abou-Chaker of all violent charges against Bushido. The Berlin Public Prosecutor's Office is appealing the verdict. During Wednesday's trial, Bushido was not present.

Arafat Abou-Chaker's legal team made it clear that the acquittal of their client in the prior violence charges against Bushido will have an impact on the civil trial. The lawyers believe there isn't a valid reason to exclude Arafat Abou-Chaker from the collaborative firm. Bushido was accused of lying in court.

Initially, Abou-Chaker and Bushido were close friends for years. Abou-Chaker had even served as a witness at Bushido's wedding. They also collaborated on a piece of land for their families to reside on together. They even showed up at public events together. However, in 2017, they parted ways. Since then, the courts have been occupied by legal disagreements.

After splitting up in the music industry and their personal falling out, they tried to wind down the real estate business privately, mentioned Arafat's sibling on Wednesday. But, it didn't take long for the "war of accusations" to start. The family had been "wrenched apart" in court for four years. Bushido had allegedly falsified evidence and appointed ABou-Chaker's brother as the power of attorney for the real estate business. "How shameless of him," a member of the Abou-Chaker family commented on Wednesday.

The issue of the 180,000 Euros was discussed at the Oberlandesgericht on Wednesday as well. Bushido claimed that Abou-Chaker's brother had illegally withdrawn the sum from the shared assets. Arafat Abou-Chaker and his brother vehemently denied this claim. They stated that there were prior arrangements, and the money was used to settle the bills for the joint property in Kleinmachnow.

Furthermore, during Wednesday's hearing, Arafat's brother discussed the 180,000 Euros dispute. He said there was a pressing need to pay for the joint property in Kleinmachnow in March 2018. Bushido initially refused to agree to it. Eventually, Bushido, Abou-Chaker, and his brother consented to withdraw the amount from the firm's account. Bushido even remarked, "Then take the money - we'll have one less problem."

Three weeks later, the Abou-Chaker brother collected the money on behalf of both men - also because Bushido was described as being "way too lazy" by another Abou-Chaker family member. The relationship between the parties in the joint property business remained "completely normal." "Whatever they did musically interested me not at all," the brother explained. The dispute over the music industry had no influence on the real estate company.

This case is part of a series of lawsuits between the two. In a previous civil suit against his former associate, Bushido emerged victorious, as the court concluded there was no management agreement between the two.
