US military personnel detained in Russia: authorities reveal
A soldier with the rank of staff sergeant was taken into custody by Russian authorities on May 2. According to officials, he was based in South Korea and voluntarily travelled to Russia.
The US Embassy in Moscow has requested to speak with the soldier and has informed his family of the situation.
