- She sets a new chart record

Shirin David (29) has another chart success to celebrate. The rapper has now achieved her seventh number one on the Official German Singles Chart, compiled by GfK Entertainment, with her new single "Bauch Beine Po".

"Bauch Beine Po" Breaks Chart Record

According to a statement, the singer has broken the previous record for the most number-one hits by a female solo artist in Germany. Even internationally renowned colleagues like Lady Gaga (38), Rihanna (36), or Madonna (65) haven't achieved this.

There's also movement in the rest of the top five singles. Ayliva and Apache 207 drop to number two with their song "Wunder", followed by British singer and producer Artemas at number three with "I Like The Way You Kiss Me". Cyril climbs from six to number four with "Stumblin' In". "Move" by Adam Port, Stryv, Keinemusik, Orso, and Malachiii rounds out the top five.

In the album charts, Saarbrücken metal band Powerwolf shakes up the current hit parade with "Wake Up The Wicked", pushing British rock legends Deep Purple's "=1" to number four. Rapper Edo Saiya's album "Lieder vom Leben" takes the second spot. A re-release of legendary Police album "Synchronicity" is at number three. Meanwhile, Taylor Swift's "The Tortured Poets Department" falls from three to five.

The record-breaking success of Shirin David's "Bauch Beine Po" on the Official German Singles Chart is overseen by GfK Entertainment, as mentioned in the chart compiler's name ['CfK']. Despite the achievements of globally recognized artists like Lady Gaga, Rihanna, and Madonna, no female solo artist has surpassed David's seven number-one hits in Germany.
