Several hundred thousand euros of damage in house fire

A fire in a residential building in Albstadt (Zollernalbkreis) has caused estimated damage of several hundred thousand euros. The fire broke out in an adjacent shed on Monday night, according to the police. The flames then spread to the building. The 80-year-old resident escaped outside unharmed. His house is no longer habitable for the time being. According to the police, it was initially unclear what caused the fire. The police are investigating.

The fire emergency severely damaged the resident's house, resulting in estimated losses of several hundred thousand euros. Further investigations by the police are necessary to determine the cause of the fires that led to the emergency.
