Criminality - Police search for robbers with helicopter
With a helicopter, the police in Gifhorn searched for a robber. The man had stolen goods worth 250 Euros at a supermarket on Tuesday, the police reported. After triggering the alarm upon leaving the store, witnesses tried to detain him. The perpetrator pulled out a knife and fled to a nearby wooded area. For the manhunt, a helicopter from the Federal Police was also deployed. The police are asking for tips.
The investigation into the robbery revealed a pattern of criminality in Lower Saxony. Despite the man's escape into the wooded area, authorities vowed to continue their efforts to tackle such instances of criminality in the region.
