Mondelez, the creator of Oreos and Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, was slapped with a €337.5 million ($366 million) penalty for obstructing the distribution of these products across European Union nations.

"Today, the EU's competition chief, Margrethe Vestager, announced that Mondelez had illegally restricted cross-border sales throughout the European Union. This was done to keep prices higher for their products, resulting in detrimental effects on consumers."
