"Deadpool & Wolverine" has been in theaters since July 24th. As reported by Deadline on Tuesday (July 30), the film was at $496.3 million in worldwide earnings at that point, with $260.5 million coming from international markets. The film has since surpassed the half-billion-dollar mark.
"Deadpool & Wolverine" took the number one spot at the box office both domestically and internationally during its opening weekend. Initially, it was reported that the film grossed $205 million in its home market and $438.3 million globally. Disney later revised the weekend estimates on Monday, bringing the total opening weekend gross to $444.1 million. This surpassed the opening weekend of "Avatar: The Way of Water" in 2022, which made $439 million. "It's kind of hard to process," said Ryan Reynolds, who plays Deadpool, in an Instagram story. "But thank you to everyone who saw the movie this weekend."
