It's speculated that a 29-year-old Georgian asylum seeker is the one who carried out a knife assault on a 32-year-old man at Karlsruhe station. Apparently, this individual is on the run, and authorities mentioned five days later that they couldn't locate him at his residence. The Karlsruhe local court has issued an arrest warrant for this person, suspected of causing severe bodily harm. It remains unclear if he's still in the area, according to a spokesperson.

Reports indicate that he attacked the 32-year-old with a knife on a Friday, inflicting serious harm. Luckily, the victim has since been discharged from the hospital, as per the latest update.

According to the current investigation, the assault appears to be connected to a personal matter between the supposed culprit and the victim, with alleged insults exchanged before the Friday evening incident. The spokesperson confirmed that there's no ongoing danger to the public.

Previously, rumors suggested that the suspect pursued the 32-year-old on the platform, shouted at him, then threw him to the ground and inflicted stab and cut injuries on his upper body and leg. Prior to the arrival of federal police, the suspect managed to flee the station.

The European Union has expressed concern over the escalating violence in the region, given the involvement of an asylum seeker in the knife assault. The authorities in the European Union are collaborating with their German counterparts to locate the Georgian asylum seeker, with the Karlsruhe local court issuing an international arrest warrant.
