Judge reviews critical decisions prior to Hunter Biden's impending gun trial in June.

Judge Maryellen Noreika, a federal judge, has agreed with prosecutors in a case about Hunter Biden's reported drug use when purchasing a gun in 2018. For them to secure a conviction, she explained they must demonstrate that Biden was regularly using drugs, rather than solely on the day of the purchase. Biden has been pushing for the application of a narrower scope of the law.

Judge Noreika also determined that Biden's legal team could raise doubts regarding the authenticity of certain information from his notorious laptop that would be presented to the jury by special counsel David Weiss' team.

As per Biden's lawyers, serious concerns exist regarding the authenticity of the laptop's contents. However, the prosecutors asserted that they only intend to use a minimal portion of the material as evidence during the trial.

Prosecutor Derek Hines emphasized, "What we're using from the laptop are messages that will be confirmed by a witness who will testify she sent those messages. This is not a vast array of messages."

The hearing is ongoing this Friday afternoon.
