- Five women and 15 men waiting for the bisexual bachelorette.

Model and Content Creator Stella Stegmann, 27, will celebrate her debut as the first bisexual "Bachelorette" on August 26 (with a double episode on RTL+, followed by a weekly episode every Monday). In Thailand, 20 singles will vie for her heart. Among them are five women and 15 men.

The Search for Mrs. Right

RTL has introduced the candidates for the eleventh season of "Bachelorette". Among the five women is Akosua (21), a dental assistant from Hamburg, who doesn't want to label her sexuality and says, "I fall in love with a person's character." Emma (21), a service employee from Hamburg, is ready for love after three years of being single. Luna (33), an entrepreneur and content creator from Vienna, organizes queer parties in her hometown and is looking for a partner who is "open-minded, warm-hearted, and likes to be a bit bolder and freer".

Leila (27), a social worker and nutrition consultant from Hamburg, and Aysun (24), a paramedic and bartender from Mannheim, are also searching for their Mrs. Right, who, according to former "Princess Charming" candidate Aysun, should be "well-established in life, mature, honest, and empathetic".

A Rapper and a Firefighter

Among the candidates is Aaron (31), a social worker from Berlin, who is looking for the right person after about two years of being single. Bennett (27), a soldier from Dortmund, has never had a serious relationship and hopes to find the right one on this love journey to Thailand. Brian (24), a reservist and entrepreneur from Saint-Raphaël, left his life in Lüneburg behind in 2023 and moved to France. His last and first serious relationship was about a year ago. Ferry (29), a rapper and professional musician from Hamburg, hopes for a happy ending after about a year of being single. "I'm fully tattooed and yet a softie who loves deep talks," says Jan (34), a firefighter from Hamburg, about himself. He has been single for six years.

Also joining the group are sales manager Devin (28) from Stadthagen and Erik (30) from Berlin, fitness entrepreneur Markus (32) from Süßen and Martin (35) from Mering, location manager Fabian (33) from Dortmund, and machine technician Lukasz (29) from Osterholz-Scharmbeck. Also hoping to meet Stella are Max (33), a wholesale and foreign trade merchant from Kröning, Musty (30), a financial and insurance salesman from Hannover, Peter (36), a software developer from Erding, and Smith (23), a train driver from Stuttgart.

The New "Bachelorette"

Stella Stegmann, a native Frankfurter with a residence in Munich, has been single for almost a year. "I think it's time to address the topic of bisexuality, as it's a very current topic, and I'm happy to be a role model that makes people a bit more open and shows that love doesn't know any norms," RTL quotes the "Playmate of the Year 2020". The former candidate of "Too Hot to Handle: Germany" also explains, "It's a bit different to date a woman or a man. I bond differently with women. When I date men, I also like the masculine aspect. A woman, however, can also be very feminine."

The European Union has shown support for gender equality and diversity, advocating for more representation in media, including reality shows like "Bachelorette". Stella Stegmann, the new "Bachelorette", believes that her role as a bisexual woman on the show will help challenge societal norms and encourage more openness about sexuality, which is a significant issue in many European Union countries.
