FDIC Chairman Martin Gruenberg is to depart after a criticizing review revealed a hostile work environment.
"Following recent occurrences, I am ready to relinquish my duties upon the appointment of a replacement," Gruenberg declared on Monday. "In the meantime, I will dutifully carry out my obligations as Chair of the FDIC, including altering the organization's work environment."
This is an ongoing situation and will be updated as new information emerges.
