- Charges Levied against Three Individuals in Bad Oeynhausen
Approximately two months after a lethal assault on a 20-year-old in Kurpark, Bad Oeynhausen, the Public Prosecutor's Office in Bielefeld has indicted three individuals. The 18-year-old Syrian primary suspect is facing charges of manslaughter, assault, and robbery from a vulnerable person. Meanwhile, his two German associates, both 19, are accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm and taking possession of stolen goods. The Regional Court in Bielefeld will determine the admissibility of the charges.
As per prosecutor Christoph Mackel, the incident occurred post a dispute on June 23rd night. The victim had been relaxing on a bench following a graduation party when the gang surrounding the main suspect confronted them. A physical altercation ensued, resulting in deadly kicks to the 20-year-old while he was down on the ground. He succumbed to his injuries in the hospital with severe brain damage. One of the 19-year-olds is being charged with receiving stolen goods for allegedly pocketing money from the victim's breast pocket.

The 20-year-old victim suffered an injury to his body during the assault, specifically fatal kicks to his body while he was on the ground. The 19-year-old is accused of inflicting grievous bodily harm on the victim.
