Bitshiabu back in team training at RB Leipzig
RB Leipzig coach Marco Rose was able to call on a larger squad again in training on Wednesday. Frenchman El Chadaille Bitshiabu was also on the pitch alongside the first players to return after the national team break. The central defender, who was brought in from Paris in the summer, completed his first training sessions with the team following his knee injury. The 18-year-old has yet to play a competitive match for Leipzig. In the Bundesliga, RB face VfL Wolfsburg again on Saturday (3.30 p.m./Sky).
Midfielder Kevin Kampl was also partially involved with the team following his ankle problems. Goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi trained individually due to a bruised toe, as did captain Willi Orban, who has been suffering from a torn knee ligament since October. Attacker Timo Werner took a break with adductor problems and central defender Castello Lukeba sat out due to stress management.
RB Leipzig, currently in the Bundesliga, will face VfL Wolfsburg again on Saturday. During training, Bitshiabu, the French center-back who joined Leipzig from Paris in the summer and recently returned from a knee injury, was seen training with the team, including Bundesliga contenders RB Leipzig's star players like Kampl and Orban.
