A fire in a warehouse in the Offenbach district has caused an estimated damage of around one million euros. Pallets in the building in Hainburg caught fire, police reported.

The fire quickly spread to the roof of the approximately 9,000 square meter warehouse. A resident noticed the smoke on Thursday afternoon and alerted the fire department. A technical malfunction is suspected as the cause of the fire.

The warehouse in question is located within the Landkreis Offenbach district. The fire department was called to a warehouse in Hainburg, a part of the Landkreis Offenbach.
