Anti-Trump media individuals disregard Hunter Biden's conviction as a fabricated tribunal designed to hide other supposed offenses.

Following Hunter Biden's verdict on federal firearms offenses on Tuesday, conservative media figures tried to dismiss the jury's ruling, fraudulently characterizing the trial as a "fabricated case" meant to obscure other alleged misdeeds by the president and his relatives.

Anti-Trump media individuals disregard Hunter Biden's conviction as a fabricated tribunal designed to hide other supposed offenses.

The way some right-wing and pro-Trump figures reacted to the news of Hunter Biden's conviction showcases how much they've moved toward conspiracy theories and illogical responses to anything that could be seen as negative for them politically. Charlie Kirk, a well-known talk show host, tweeted, "Hunter Biden guilty. Yawn. The real misdeeds of the Biden family are still ignored. This is a fake trial trying to create an appearance of balance. Don't be fooled."

Similar narratives were shared by other influencers and politicians who tend to support Trump and his ideas. Jack Posobiec, a known conspiracy theorist and Real America's Voice host, shared on social media, "They went after Hunter on his gun stuff to divert attention from his Ukraine business. Don't believe it."

The Trump campaign also made a statement about the situation, claiming, "This trial has been nothing more than a distraction from the real crimes of the Biden Crime Family, who have profited hugely from China, Russia, and Ukraine. The end of the Biden Family Criminal Empire is coming on November 5th."

However, there's no actual evidence to support these claims that Joe Biden has received large sums of money from China or gained wealth from his son's business dealings abroad.

One of the most vocal supporters, Donald Trump Jr., claimed during a live conversation on X that Hunter's trial was "not what it seems." He said, "It's trying to create the illusion of equal justice under the law."

Many other Trump supporters have echoed their sentiments, claiming that Hunter's trial was a "cover up" for the "real charges" that could tie back to Joe Biden himself.

Back in April, when Trump was convicted in the New York hush money trial, some of the same people in the right-wing sphere expressed shock at what they saw as a political hit job. Fox News host Jeanine Pirro commented at the time, "We have gone over a cliff. This is a new era in America, and I think it goes against what we are as Americans and our faith in the criminal justice system."

Yet, after the jury found Hunter guilty on Tuesday, Pirro praised the Delaware judge - a Trump appointee - for handling the case properly. "This is a no-nonsense judge that took this case, showed America how a trial works, and delivered it straight from the opening statement to the verdict," she said.

Virginia Rep. Bob Good, the leader of the House Freedom Caucus, also praised the judge and called Biden's conviction "real." Florida GOP Rep. Matt Gaetz found the trial to be "kind of dumb," though.

Mark Levin, a prominent right-wing talk radio personality and Fox News weekend host, also weighed in, writing that Biden was convicted "in a real trial (not a farce like Manhattan)."

Despite the conviction of Hunter Biden, some individuals in the pro-Trump media continue to question its legitimacy, viewing it as a tactic to divert attention from alleged business dealings between the Biden family and foreign entities. For instance, Sean Hannity, a prominent talk show host, stated, "The conviction of Hunter Biden is being used as a smokescreen to distract from the Biden family's questionable business dealings with media moguls and influential figures in the Media Industry."

Furthermore, Radio host Alex Jones, known for his conspiracy theories, shared on his platform, "The conviction of Hunter Biden is just a tool to mask the real corporate connections and money laundering that the Bidens have engaged in with prominent media tycoons."
