A young man of 25 was speeding way over the limit on the A8 motorway in a construction area, the police reported. On a Tuesday, he was going almost three times as fast as he should have with a speed of 180 km/h instead of the allowed 80 km/h, they revealed the next day. A civilian patrol caught up with him. He's in for some hefty punishment, facing a minimum fine of 700 euros, a three-month driving suspension, and two demerit points on his license in Flensburg.
