- 72-year-old motorcyclist seriously injured in accident
A motorcyclist was seriously injured near Dasburg (Eifelkreis Bitburg-Prüm district) in an accident. The 72-year-old lost control of his vehicle on a wet road and collided with the guardrail, as police reported. The accident, which also involved police, firefighters, and a rescue helicopter, occurred on the B410 between Dasburg and Dasburgerbrück.
The police are investigating various factors to determine if weather conditions, such as the wet road, played a role in the other motorcyclist's loss of control. Despite the efforts of multiple emergency services, the severity of the other rider's injuries required transport to a specialized medical facility.
