33-year-old beats paramedic unconscious

A 33-year-old man has knocked an emergency doctor unconscious and seriously injured him during a rescue operation in Prenzlau. The perpetrator was in a state of mental distress on Friday evening, the police reported. The ambulance staff then withdrew and alerted police officers, who overpowered the 33-year-old and slightly injured him in the process. The emergency doctor and the 33-year-old were taken to hospital.

The rescue operation was triggered due to an unspecified emergency situation. Despite the serious nature of the situation, the paramedic was unfortunately assaulted during the operation.
