Russia voices concerns over terrorist attempts by the "Kiev government".

Russia is back on the defensive against Ukraine's attacks, claims the Ministry of Defense. The air defense system is taking out dozens of drones to thwart potential "terrorist attacks" on Russian soil, alleges the ministry. However, Ukraine has a different story.

As per Russia, it has successfully taken down 31 Ukrainian drones across various Russian regions and the annexed Crimean peninsula. These attacks were reportedly orchestrated by the Kiev regime to carry out terror attacks within Russian borders, says the Ministry of Defense on Telegram.

Russian air defense has reportedly downed twelve drones over the Belgorod border region, eight more drones in the Kursk border region, and four in the neighboring Lipetsk region. In Crimea, which was annexed by Russia in 2014, seven drones and four Storm Shadow cruise missiles were destroyed.

Ukrainian intelligence sources claim that these drones caused fires at a Russian oil depot and a power station in Belgorod and Lipetsk, respectively. They also revealed that these targets are a part of Russian industry, involved in the war with Ukraine, have deemed as fair game by their circles.

In other news, the number of casualties rose after a high-rise building collapsed in Belgorod, Russia. The Russian Ministry of Civil Defense reported 15 fatalities, but Russian news agencies hinted at 20 injuries, including a missing child.

Russia pins the blame for this on Ukraine. The Russian Ministry of Defense claims that debris from one of the downed Totschka-U missiles damaged the building. This claim, however, remains unverified. The Ukrainian side has yet to issue a statement on the matter. The Kremlin confirms that President Vladimir Putin has been filled in on the attack.
