Test match in Austria - FC Nürnberg wins XXL-game against Blackburn

The 1. FC Nürnberg won their XXL-Test at the training camp in Austria against the English Football League Championship team Blackburn Rovers. The team of the former World Cup winner Miroslav Klose defeated them on Saturday in front of around 1000 spectators in Kössen with a score of 4:2. For Nürnberg, Danilo Soares (2nd minute), Lukas Schleimer (28th), Dustin Forkel (73rd), and Stefanos Tzimas (93rd) were successful in the only preparation game in Tirol. In the test lasting four times 30 minutes, the English could shorten the score through Dominic Hyam (34th) and John Buckley (118th) respectively.

On Sunday, Nürnberg travel back home from Walchsee in Tirol. Klose's team will then play their general rehearsal for the 2nd league start on August 3 against Karlsruher SC at the Max-Morlock-Stadion on the coming Friday (5:30 PM) against the Italian top club Juventus Turin.
