The German police have found an email account that ties Christian B. to the Madeleine McCann case. The media report this based on a witness statement in the trial where B. is currently fighting charges of sexual assault.
According to a court investigator, detectives found emails on a Hotmail account that's all linked to B. and the case. Also, there's a second account where B. allegedly sent child abuse materials to fellow abusers.
The Daily Mail reveals that the officer stated B. wiped out all emails from this account in early 2007. He said, "I remember there was lots of deleting in that inbox. By January 2007, nothing was left." Madeleine McCann vanished on May 3, 2007, in Praia da Luz, where she was on vacation with her parents and siblings.
Hideous Fantasy Revealed
B. was named as the main suspect in the McCann case by German authorities in 2020. But there's been no indictment issued for this case up till now. The German police have also not spoken of any possible evidence or hints leading to this classification. B. is currently serving time in a Portuguese prison for raping an elderly woman.
A witness told the newspaper about an email supposedly penned by B., filled with a horrifying fantasy. It described a five-year-old girl and her mother, who got abducted and taken away in a delivery van, and later endured sexual abuse. Law enforcement officials found a copy of this vicious fantasy on a laptop used by B. in Portugal in 2017.
In the ongoing trial, the 47-year-old German man faces a total of three rape charges and two child abuse accusations. It must be mentioned that the presumption of innocence remains intact. According to the accusations, B. is said to have violated an unknown elderly woman in her Portuguese home's bedroom and recorded it between the end of 2000 and early 2006. He's also charged with raping a minor under 14 years old during the same period.
