In recent probe activities, the residence of questionable influencer Andrew Tate and his sibling Tristan in Romania was scrutinized on a Wednesday. The office responsible for tackling organized crime revealed that "four search warrants" were carried out. The investigation concerns suspicions of "establishing a criminal syndicate, trafficking of minors for illicit purposes" together with "inappropriate relations with a minor" and "money laundering."
It's not yet clear if these accusations specifically target the two brothers. Andrew and Tristan Tate were detained towards the end of 2022. In mid-2023, they were slapped with charges of deceiving women using emotional exploitation and subsequently coercing them into creating explicit content. A court date hasn't been specified yet. Andrew Tate is implicated in two rape cases.

In another instance, British authorities have issued an international arrest warrant for the brothers, who have resided in Romania for a while, on charges of rape and trafficking of minors. They also face accusations of tax evasion in the UK, where they allegedly neglected to pay taxes on £21 million (approximately €25 million) in earnings from the internet between 2014 and 2022.
The brothers refute the charges. They currently enjoy freedom in Romania. Initially, they were forbidden from leaving the country, but a court in Bucharest later gave them permission to travel within the EU while the trial is ongoing.
Andrew Tate was ejected from various digital networks, like Instagram and Tiktok, due to recurring misogynistic comments. Nonetheless, the previous kickboxer boasts more than nine million followers on the digital platform X.
