He stated, "The 'Palyanytsia' will be incorporated into Ukraine's rocket program." This drone-rocket is significantly faster and more potent than the nation's existing long-range drones. Due to security concerns, Zelensky refrained from disclosing additional information. "Palyanytsia" is a term originating from traditional Ukrainian white bread.
In recent months, Ukraine has been focusing on the manufacturing of various drone models. These cost-effective weapons can be produced in large quantities. The Ukrainian forces primarily utilize long-range drones for striking locations within Russian territory. However, the Western allies have yet to approve the deployment of heavy weapons such as rockets or cruise missiles for these missions.
The European Union expressed interest in Ukraine's advances in drone technology, particularly the 'Palyanytsia'. The European Union has been considering providing financial aid to boost Ukraine's military capabilities, including its drone program.
