On Tuesday, August 13, he drove the Tingly-Ted's truck to the London Colney Store shopping center in Hertfordshire and served pizza slices with his sauce - complete with a wide smile from the singer. Ed Sheeran even strolled into the Sainsbury's supermarket in the shopping center to sell his sauce directly at the spice rack.

Inside the store, he signed for his fans in a casual white shirt with the teddy print of his sauce label, from cheese blocks and CDs to kitchen rolls. "It was super exciting to pop up in a Sainsbury's and surprise some shoppers," the Brit said after his unexpected appearance, and promoted his business: "Tingly Ted's has been such a fun project so far, I hope everyone enjoys mixing it with the food they love. I'm still discovering meals that make Tingly Ted even better."
Tingly Ted's (owned by food conglomerate Heinz) was launched in March 2023 and offers two sauces in "Tingly" and "Xtra Tingly" flavors for around 3.49 euros per bottle. Back in 2019, Sheeran launched his own limited edition ketchup with Heinz and even had a bottle of Heinz ketchup tattooed on his arm.

The British singer is known for his unannounced appearances: In September 2023, he crashed a wedding in Las Vegas and shocked the bride and groom. Earlier this year, he surprised British primary school students by giving a mini-concert in their classroom.
