Metrological Conditions - Weather professionals predict fewer rain showers but more thunderstorms in the Allgäu region.
As per the DWD's forecast, the region of Oberschwaben may receive up to 20 liters of rainfall per square meter from last night until Monday. In addition, an extra 5 to 15 liters of rainfall is expected until the evening. On the Allgäu border with Bavaria, up to 35 liters per square meter is possible.
In the morning, the DWD issued a severe weather warning for the Tübingen government district as a precaution. This is due to the risk of heavy and continuous rain, flooded roads and culverts, as well as potential landslides. The warning will remain in effect until Monday evening.
