A 23-year-old dude, cruising close to Blaubeuren (district of Alb-Donau), swerved into oncoming traffic and smashed into three approaching vehicles and a horse trailer. As per cop reports, four folks got hurt in the crash, two of them seriously. Among the severely wounded were the 23-year-old and a 43-year-old chap.
The 43-year-old was hauling a horse trailer with his vehicle. The horse and the drivers of the other two vehicles had minor injuries. The emergency services shipped the wounded to the hospital. A vet apparently got summoned to the spot for the injured horse. It was puzzling initially why the young fellow drifted into the oncoming lane on a Saturday morning on B492 at a left bend. Cops are probing the matter.
The Alb-Danube region is known for its scenic drives, making it a popular destination for weekend getaways. Despite the region's beauty, the accident occurred near Blaubeuren in the Alb-Danube district.
