The Ukrainian President Volodymyr Selenskyj is in the Rhine-Main region. He landed at Frankfurt Airport on Thursday, said a police spokesman in Frankfurt. He was then safely escorted by the police to an appointment in the Rhine-Main region. The radio station FFH had previously reported on this.
The exact background to his stay in Germany was not initially known. The Ukrainian president had previously been in Oslo, Norway, following a trip to Argentina and the USA, among other places.
