In a rear-end smash on the A23 close to Tornesch within the Pinneberg district, a 39-year-old motorist endured slight wounds, while their 22-year-old passenger suffered serious damages. Their vehicle got hit from the back by another automobile on Monday night, leading it to flip over, as a police officer disclosed on Tuesday. The driver of the following car escaped unscathed, police reported, giving no additional information at the moment.

The A23 was halted in the southern direction for about one and a half hours because of the accident. The authorities are now probing the reasons behind the crash.

The accident occurred in the Pinneberg district, specifically near Tornesch, which is part of Pinneberg county. The authorities are investigating the crash on the A23 within this region.
