Lübeck - Two cars burnt out: Police suspect arson

At the weekend, two unknown persons set fire to cars in Lübeck. One of the vehicles was completely burnt out, the police announced on Monday. The engine compartment of the second vehicle was mainly affected. The vehicle fires on Sunday night caused damage amounting to several hundred thousand euros.

According to the police, the cars were parked one behind the other at the side of the road. The flames then spread from the rear to the front car, said a police spokesman. The police are currently assuming arson.
